Provably Fair: What It Means, and Whether Polobet Has It
Date: July 1, 2026 | Reading time: 3 minutes
Provably fair is a real mechanism with a precise definition, and it is not something we can show this brand has. The earlier version of this page explained how to verify your own spins at Polobet in under sixty seconds. We could find no such verification anywhere, and that section has been removed.
What we checked, and how. The only reachable source about this operator is the site at polobet.com, which runs on WordPress and writes about Polobet in the third person; it does not contain the words «provably fair», «blockchain» or any equivalent. The playable lobby sits behind a rotating numbered mirror — today polobet.bet forwards through a shortener to polobet1171.com — which returns a Cloudflare challenge from our connection, so we cannot inspect it either. The honest statement is «we could not find it», and the old page's step-by-step instructions described a feature we never saw.
What provably fair actually means
The term has a specific technical content, and it is worth knowing so that you can recognise the real thing. A provably fair game commits to its randomness before you play. The server generates a seed and publishes its cryptographic hash in advance; you contribute a client seed of your own; the outcome is derived from both plus an incrementing nonce. After the round, the server reveals the original seed. You hash it yourself, compare it with the commitment published beforehand, and recompute the outcome. If either check fails, the operator changed the seed after seeing your bet.
Two properties follow, and both matter. The scheme proves that a specific result was not altered after the fact. It does not prove that the game is generous: a provably fair game can carry any house edge at all, and verifying a spin tells you nothing about the return to player. Those are different guarantees, and conflating them is the most common error in writing about this subject — including in the version of this page we are replacing.
Claim by claim
| Old claim | What would confirm it | How it stands |
|---|---|---|
| You can verify every Polobet spin yourself | A seed commitment and a verifier page from the operator | Not found. Not confirmed |
| Verification takes under 60 seconds | The verifier existing at all | Moot while the first row stands |
| Provably fair means mathematical proof of fairness | A definition — and here it matters | It proves a result was not altered, not that the odds are good |
| It replaces trusting licences and audits | — | It replaces neither; it answers a narrower question than an audit does |
What you can check about this operator instead
Three things are published, and all three are worth reading carefully. The licence is stated as Anjouan ALSI-192407044-FI2. The operating company is given as Infinity Time Solutions B.V. And the brand reaches players through numbered mirror domains that change every few weeks, with an affiliate tag appended to the destination.
One detail about the licence number deserves saying plainly: the same number appears in connection with a different brand. That does not establish wrongdoing — a licensee can hold several brands — but it does mean the number alone identifies a licensee rather than a site, and that a licence badge on a page is not by itself evidence about the page it sits on. Our licensing page covers what the register does and does not let you confirm.
The adjacent claim that payouts run through smart contracts is handled in our piece on what crypto rails really change; the physiology of the moment you might want to audit is in what a jackpot does to the brain; and the interface question is in the state of VR gambling.
Questions readers actually ask
Is Polobet provably fair?
We found
no evidence that it offers provably fair
verification. The operator publishes nothing about
it and the lobby is not inspectable from here. The
old version of this page asserted it and even
explained the steps; that was wrong, and this is the
correction.
Does provably fair mean I will win more
often?
No. It means a specific result
was not tampered with after your bet. The house edge
is independent of that guarantee, and a verified game
can be a bad-value game.
So how do I check a result at all
here?
Where no seed commitment is
published, you cannot verify a spin, and no article
can give you a way to. What remains is the ordinary
route: the licence register, the operating company,
the published terms, and your own records of
deposits and withdrawals.
Saying «not found» is less satisfying than a sixty-second verification guide. It is also the only version of this page that a reader can check.
